Alflora Cereal Straw can be used as either a great fibrous feed, or brilliant natural bedding for your animals.

Alflora uses high quality ingredients to harness the power of nature and is completely GMO-free. Alflora crops are cultivated without the use of chemical fertilisers, pesticide treatments and irrigation.The quality forage is selected, before being simply suncured or dehydrated, cut and pressed into pellets through a mechanical process that involves no chemical additives or glues.

  • NATURALLY NUTRITIOUS. Our pellets contains a high content of cellulose, and contains some of all essential plant nutrients, including nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium. A great addition for added fibre.
  • CAN BE SOAKED. For older animals and those who struggle to chew, Alflora Cereal Straw Pellets can be soaked and softened before feeding. Using either hot (15 mins soak time) or cool water (around 2 hours), the pellets can be soaked to produce a mash on a 1:3, pellet to water ratio.
  • MAKES BRILLIANT BEDDING. Our cereal straw pellets offer low dust and high absorption rates; absorbing up to 400% of their volume, with a reduced ammonia smell. They ensure maximum thermal isolation and have the added benefit of not being harmful to animals if ingested.”

Usage Guide

BEDDDING GUIDE
Distribute the desired quantity. Remove the dirty parts daily and replace with clean pellets. Every 20 days remove completely, clean the floor and distribute clean pellets. For broilers and turkeys distribute a uniform layer thick minimum 1,5 cm (about 7-8 kg/sqm). Increase the quantity in case of big birds (eg. ostriches) to about 10 kg/sqm. No need to move it manually, poultry’s natural movements keep the bedding dry. Every 60 days remove bedding competely and replace with new clean pellets or straw.

FEEDING GUIDE
Suitable for equines, bovines, rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, poultry and small animals/pets.

STORAGE
Best kept indoors in a dry, dark, cool area, free from excessive humidity and vermin.
